pARTy Questions
What is included?
- We take care of set up for the party.
- All materials, supplies, and instructions are included.
- We give you up to 3 hours of Studio creativity!
- You may bring in your own cake, snacks and drinks!
- Our amazing staff offers guided instruction for each project!
- Each guest will leave with a beautiful, fun, whimsical piece!!
- Hammer & Stain handles all of the clean up so you can enjoy the pARTy!
- You may arrive 30 minute early to set up.
- All head counts and project selections are due 3 days before the pARTy.
- At least 2 adults are required to attend each pARTy.
What times can I book a Party?
Parties can be held on the weekends at 10:00 am or 2:30 pm or during the week in the afternoon during the school year.
Parties can also be held Wednesday through Friday at 10:00am or 2:30 pm during the week when school is not in session.
Evening parties are available upon request on a case by case basis. Contact us for scheduling.
How does it work?
Holding a pARTy with us is easy!
Simply select the type of pARTy you would like to book. Fill out all of the required information on the pARty selection page and submit.
Once we receive your request we will build a custom web page on our website just for your pARTy. Once this page is completed we will send you a link to your pARTy to share.
Send this link to the people you would like to invite. Have them select their project and design choice from the website.
Your guests will utilize our check out procedure to confirm their choices, customization options and agree to our participation waiver.
That's it! We will take care of all of the details and have all of the projects ready for your pARTy.
You come with any cake, drinks or snacks you would like to have at the pARTy. You may even bring in some special decorations if you would like!
We will take lots of photos of during your pARTy! You will be able to share these from our Social Media sites with your family and friends! If you post your own photos, please check-in and tag us on the post! We love seeing the pARTy through your lens too!
If needed, will contact you by your preferred method if we have any additional questions or need clarification.
How far in advance do I need to book a pARTy?
We like a minimum of 2 weeks lead time for parties so that we can build you pARTy page and you have plenty of time to share the link!
Please note that we will try to update you on who has registered to attend the pARTy, but we have found that often people will sign up on the last day that registration is open.
Do all my guests need to register through the website before attending the party?
Yes!
Firstly, it is the best way for us to know what project and design they have selected as well as any customization or personalization that will be added to the project.
Secondly, part of our check out system includes a waiver to patriciate and attend. Everyone attending one of our workshops is required to agree to and sign our waiver to participate.
Extra adults (like grandparents) that may be attending the pARTy can download the form from the checkout link and bring to the pARty or they can sign a waiver to attend once they are at the Studio.
Our insurance requires that everyone at the Studio during a workshop must have a signed waiver in place in order to stay.
What if I have more or less than 10 guests to invite?
Our pARTies are set as packages.
In the event you have more guests to invite, each party selection page will give you the ability to add on additional guests in advance.
If you have additional guests sign up over the pARTy bundle number already purchased we will send you an invoice or make arrangements for payment.
The price for the pARTy is the same regardless of if there are less guests attending than the maximum number in the pARTy package.
If you have a small number of guests to invite, but still want to have our unique Hammer and Stain DIY experience, consider contacting us to make a "table reservation."
Table reservations will allow us to hold space for your group in our Studio for you to come and create.
Table reservations are not a private DIY experience at the studio and there may be other makers creating projects at the same time.
You will still receive one on one instruction from our staff for your group. You may still bring in all of the pARTy goodies you would like to share with your guests.
We can set up a pARTy link in advance for your guests for you to share with a table reservation.
Table reservations can be made during any Open Paint Days, Sunday afternoons on on select week nights. Please contact us to book a table reservation.
