How to Book

1. Choose a pARTy collection from our Private pARTy Options

2. Pick the date and time to hold your pARTy

3. Fill out the contact information

4. Add to cart and proceed to check out to pay the deposit.

How does it work?

Holding a pARTy with us is easy!

Simply select the type of pARTy you would like to book. Fill out all of the required information on the pARty selection page and submit.

Once we receive your request we will build a custom web page on our website just for your pARTy. Once this page is completed we will send you a link to your pARTy to share.

Send this link to the people you would like to invite. Have them select their project and design choice from the website.

Your guests will utilize our check out procedure to confirm their choices, customization options and agree to our participation waiver.

That's it! We will take care of all of the details and have all of the projects ready for your pARTy.

You come with any cake, drinks or snacks you would like to have at the pARTy. You may even bring in some special decorations if you would like!

We will take lots of photos of during your pARTy! You will be able to share these from our Social Media sites with your family and friends! If you post your own photos, please check-in and tag us on the post! We love seeing the pARTy through your lens too!

If needed, will contact you by your preferred method if we have any additional questions or need clarification.

How far in advance do I need to book a pARTy?

We like a minimum of 2 weeks lead time for parties so that we can build you pARTy page and you have plenty of time to share the link!

Please note that we will try to update you on who has registered to attend the pARTy, but we have found that often people will sign up on the last day that registration is open.

What times can I book a pARTy?

Private Parties can be booked for any day or time during the week.We have found that the best times to book a private party are at 10 am for morning parties, 2pm for afternoon parties or 7pm for evening parties.

How many Guests can I invite to my pARTy?

While our studio can hold up to 24 guests at a party, the number of guest that can attend will depend on the table space required for the size of the projects selected.

Our average pARTy size for in studio parties is between 10-15 guests

Is there a minimum number of guests that I need to invite to book a pARTy?

Because our project prices may vary depending on the collection and /or projects chosen rather than setting a minimum number of attendees we have set a sales total for the pARTy in order for us to close down our Studio.

For parties scheduled Sunday through Thursday any time and  Friday and Saturday daytime parties we request a minimum of 6-8 people or when project sales total a minimum of $300.

Friday and Saturday night private parties have a  minimum requested of 9 or more people or when project sales total a minimum of $600.

What if I do not have enough guests to invite to reach the Private pARTy minimums

If you have a small number of guests to invite, but still want to have our unique Hammer and Stain DIY experience, consider contacting us to make a "table reservation."

Table reservations will allow us to hold space for your group in our Studio for you to come and create.

Table reservations are not a private DIY experience at the studio and there may be other makers creating projects at the same time.

You will still receive one on one instruction from our staff for your group. You may still bring in all of the pARTy goodies you would like to share with your guests.

We can set up a pARTy link in advance for your guests for you to share with a table reservation.

Table reservations can be made during any Open Paint Days, Sunday afternoons and on select week nights. Please contact us to book a table reservation.

What is included in the pARTy?

We close down our Studio just for you and your guests for up to 3 hours. We will provide all of the materials and the instructions for you and your guests to create one of our projects.

Don't worry if you forget something! We always have basic pARTy supplies on hand like cups, napkins, plates and serving utensils. We also have a 2 gallon drink dispenser perfect for teas and punches that you are welcome to use. The Studio has a small countertop ice machine that you are also welcome to use during your pARTy.

Do all my guests need to register through the website before attending the party?


Firstly, it is the best way for us to know what project and design they have selected as well as any customization or personalization that will be added to the project.

Secondly, part of our check out system includes a waiver to patriciate and attend. Everyone attending one of our workshops is required to agree to and sign our waiver to participate.

For Private pARTies at the studio we ask that no one attends the pARTy that is not completing a project.

Our insurance requires that everyone at the Studio during a workshop must have a signed waiver in place in order to stay.

What to bring?

You may bring food, beer or wine (21+ guests) to snack on or share with your friends or family during the workshop.

Wear comfortable clothes to the workshop. We will provide you with aprons to wear during your workshop, but paint happens! Be sure to not wear your favorite tee or jeans.

Workshop Policies

pARTy Deposits:

A deposit of $25 is required to book your pARTy. This deposit can be applied to the hosts project. We will send you a discount code to use when checking out to apply to the cart. In the evnt you cancel the pARTy, you forfeit the deposit.

Cancellations and reschedules:

WE know life happens and occasionally things will need to be rescheduled. Parties can be reschedule to a new date within 45 days and dependant upon availability. Cancellations will forfiet the pARTy deposit.

For all workshops and pARTies:

Due to customization at ALL our workshops, there are NO REFUNDS for workshops. However, if you cancel with at least 24 HOURS notice your project will be saved and can be completed at a future workshop or Open Paint session within the next 30 DAYS. Same day cancellations or no-shows will NOT recieve a credit for a future workshop.
